American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Missouri State Council 72 filed a petition requesting the Board of Mediation to make a determination in the appropriateness of the bargaining unit and on majority representation.
The Board found that the unit is appropriate with the exception of the teachers at the Training School for Girls and that the Union does have majority representation within the unit. Teachers were excluded from the bargaining unit.
