The Congress of Independent Unions, Intervenor and City of Arnold, Missouri
Teamsters filed a petition to represent all employees of the City of Arnold, excluding Mayor and City Administrator’s secretaries, street crew, foreman, all clerical employees and all department heads. The Congress of Independent Unions intervened in this case. CIU was granted the right to intervene based on its previous certification as an affiliated international to Industrial Miscellaneous Workers, Local 30.
The Board stated that an appropriate unit is all employees of the City of Arnold; excluding supervisors, the Mayor and City Administrator’s secretaries, street crew foreman, all clerical employees and all department heads.
