Postsecondary Degree Hiring Appeal Form

Pursuant to ยง 105.1600 RSMo., effective August 28, 2023, the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (LIRC) reviews appeals filed by applicants who believe they have been eliminated from hiring consideration by a state agency solely because the applicant lacks a postsecondary degree. The LIRC also reviews reports regarding open positions with state agencies that require a postsecondary degree and fail to include an explanation as required.

This form is used to appeal a decision eliminating an applicant from hiring consideration by a state agency solely because of a lack of a postsecondary degree.
