Postsecondary Degree Hiring Appeal Form

Pursuant to § 105.1600 RSMo., effective August 28, 2023, the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (LIRC) reviews appeals filed by applicants who believe they have been eliminated from hiring consideration by a state agency solely because the applicant lacks a postsecondary degree. The LIRC also reviews reports regarding open positions with state agencies that require a postsecondary degree and fail to include an explanation as required.

This form is used to appeal a decision eliminating an applicant from hiring consideration by a state agency solely because of a lack of a postsecondary degree.
